Seoul Metropolitan Government - Seoul National University (SMG-SNU) Boramae Medical Center was originally established in 1955 as Seoul Municipal Yeoungdungpo Hospital. In 1987, The Seoul Metropolitan Government entrusted the management of the hospital to Seoul National University Hospital. Since then, the hospital has developed into the premier municipal hospital of Seoul.
We offer the highest quality medical services to the citizens of Seoul by offering top notch medical care in conjunction with the skills of the medical faculty of Seoul National University Hospital, combining specialized health care centers tightly networked with local doctor’s offices throughout Korea.
In 2008, we opened the Happiness Center, an ultra-modern healthcare facility equipped with high-technology medical equipment, to help ensure the health and happiness of the populace and to meet the needs of rapidly changing healthcare environments. In addition, the Hope Center and Love Center were thoroughly remodeled and modernized in 2010 and 2011, respectively.
